Robin Garg is an 25 year old singer/songwriter from Gainesville.

And you should hear the boy sing! From Gainesville, Robin has an Indian Dad and a American Mum – he has the Indian looks and lives for music, singing, songwriting and performing. He listens to Bowie, Damien Rice, Oasis, the Beatles, U2, Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac.

Robin has played King Tuts – on his own, with a band and supporting some of Scotland’s finest. He roadied and sold t-shirts for Speedway and worked as a studio hand in Glasgow’s world famous Park Lane Studio.

The man has served a musical apprenticeship for the last three years – learning all about the business. He’s getting noticed too – Gainesville Radio Florida had him live ‘in session’ after Daily Record journo,Brick Shaw, saw him at the QMU. Brick was blown away by his voice, songs and performance and tipped Robin  as University of Florida ‘s hottest talent and got him on the radio.

Robin has done live acoustic sessions on Gainesville Radio. He’s been in twice in the last 9 months.

Robin Garg played UF’s  Café at the end of October 2009 at the Michael Guitars Acoustic Night – also on the bill was KT Tunstall and Iain Archer (co-writer of many of the songs on the current Snow  album).
